The florest is in a European style boutique, and within Bloomies Flowers the walls are a wash of light sky blue with accents of brown. It was important to the client for the web site to reflect that colour scheme, and prominently feature their brightly colored bouquets.

These are reduced size and ran as ad banners encouraging donations to the historic sailing vessel replica Lady Washington and the Gray's Harbor HIstorical Seaport Association.

BariMD

This is an example of a site that was beginning to show its age, so they wanted a redesign to refresh the look with a more contemporary feel. Many of the different areas of the site have their own unique looks, but still within the same branding family.

The web site was extremely large with multiple pages and looks, and I created an e-mail template to match for them to send out. I suggested the rotating featured items on the intro page and created the site in asp.

Due to the extensive galleries on the site, there are several Javascript functions integrated with the main HTML. The shopping cart was set up through paypal, although I customized the look of the buttons and main design.

I came in to design and code the main portfolio section— the overall design and web site is by a different designer. I needed to have a concept that was in the same concept family but also presented the information in a fresh way.

Wordpress Blog / Ad Banner
This is one of several author sites I have created. It includes a blog, which I set up in Wordpress with a custom theme. The colours chosen are of an earthy forest and nature theme, since his primary book is based on Lord of the Rings. I also created a web banner ad.

BariMD

These are for a series of bariatric training conferences. They have been significantly reduced from their original size, where they displayed in a homepage rotation on the BariMD web site.

Destel

Since the logo is a set of puzzle pieces, that needed to be a theme of the web site. After considering various possibilities, the simple look of a series of photographs within various pieces proved to be the most effective.

This site had a combination of dropdown menus, flash and static pages. The most complicated element was displaying different tables out of their database of clients. I worked with a php programmer on that, but did some of the implementation.

I took Photoshop files and coded several initial template pages for the designer to work off of— as well as gave technical support during the finishing stages.

I did the main site structure, and created the animated listen live button. Some of the areas of the site were created in a CMS so the client could easily update them. I also worked with a php programmer who created the databases.

Sloat Design

This site was created mostly using HTML, although there is some Javascript present. The main login area for clients to view mockups is in php, and the site also includes an interactive map on the contact us page with directions that is imbedded using Google.
